The pistons do look cool X, but you could have used furnaces instead of
pistons for that texture. You also wouldn’t have trouble with the lighting
    :D

Xisuma I like hermitcraft series so so much. you all come up with great
ides and it is very inspirational. thank you

  3. Andrewrb15 Says:

You’ve probably already figured this out or there’s been a comment about
it, but in the corners, there aren’t source blocks on either side of the
dispenser, so when the second minecart comes through to pick up the water,
it won’t refill and be a source block.

  4. Hamty Says:

My solution to the problem: put redstone lamps near the dispencers, so the
water doesnt freeze before it was taken back to the dispencer

  5. Black Crane Production Says:

what happens when the ice forms above the dispenser before it recollects
    the water

Really nice video x! Um.. What’s wrong with the video title; Hermticraft?

Here is some math that proves that doing dispensers diagonally will never
    be more efficient.
x = # of dispensers in square pattern.
c = # of dispensers in diagonal pattern.
    You start with a^2 + b^2 = c^2 as the Pythagorean theorem.
    For a square, that would be 2x^2 = c^2
Because you put a dispenser every other block for the square, you can
divide by two to get x^2 = c^2
    That simplifies to x = c
There’s some math for those of you who are trying to make more efficient
methods. No matter how you arrange dispensers (in such a way that it will
work), it will consist of tiled 45 degree diagonal or straight lines.
Therefore, all of those methods are just as efficient.

Clarification: When I say “square”, I really mean a 45-45-90 triangle minus
    the hypotenuse.

  10. TheGameCommander Says:

you can do that the minecart enables redstone lamps on the first ride and
disables them on the second ride.

  11. That Jammy Guy Says:

Xisuma please can you put subtitles in your videos for blind people. I
    think it’s only fair!

  12. TheGameCommander Says:

    what happend to mythbusting?

  13. Mumbo Jumbo Says:

Hermticraft? Is that like a sister server that you guys haven’t told me
    about?

Seeing the room below the tray filled with dirt pillars, I thought it would
be really cool if you were to build a secret *maze* down there :D

  16. slosh11111420 Says:

The last corner doesn’t have a source block on the one side to recreate the
source block when the dispenser removes it

  17. Philippa McWilliams Says:

X, no offence, but why would you build a farm right next to the hermit
dropper? It kinda ruins the look of it. :P

  18. joeshmocoolstuff Says:

X, when are you going to play Impulse’s new archery minigame?! It’s so
awesome! I want to see what score you can get.

  19. 96samcosmo Says:

You can do the ice tray without any redstone at all. ice doesn’t freeze if
it is under a block, so just have a ring of blocks around the outer layer
of water, when the ice is removed it will fill itself back up with no
    effort at all.

Edit: you could also have built the farm at a high enough height in any
    biome (except maybe desert).

What’s with the picture of the squid farm as the thumbnail? XD
