because that’s going to annoy people” :P

  5. dloner08 Says:

It’s not hermitcraft even in single player if you hold shit you take fall

  8. Ken DaCrafter Says:

I wonder if when you are on air and if you press shift, does it make you
    fall down quicker?

  9. KingDaddyDMAC Says:

great seeing you guys hang out :)

  10. Sl1pg8r - Minecraft, Mods, and MOAR! Says:

    Nice! That elevator rocks! :)

  11. Oh Drakey Says:

Plot Twist: Xisuma is actually a female, with a very deep voice.

  12. Addison Richert Says:

why did you not just place the rail on the slime block directly 10:00? it
would be quicker than going to the top and making it fall down.

  13. zueljin Says:

Was great hanging out with you bro! Really glad the elevator worked out for
    ya :)

  14. Felix Jones Says:

The piston thing has zero to do with what is visible (Chunk loading is not
based on visibility, only the rendering is based on visibility, so the
behaviour of the chunks has nothing to do with what is visible).

And the movement is definitely client side, zipkrowd might not have
understood the problem, but looking at Minecraft’s code the movement is
definitely client-side with some server-side correction based on simulation
(Which can be slowed down when the server is underload).

The ideal solution would have the movement server side with client side
simulation for perceived smoothing (The opposite to what Minecraft does,
which is actual smoothing with server-side simulation, however the server
is the source of truth which can cause problems and conflicts, resulting in
    teleporting during lag spikes).

Fun fact; the Minecraft combat is also client-side, so only when two
clients agree does damage get dealt (Which is both bad and good)

its kinda funny that a lot of people complained about how ugly diorite
looks when 1.8 came out and it seems everyone is building with it now.
seems like granite is the one left out.
also great work with the elevator. figured you’d get it straightened out
somehow. still interesting to know why the other version didn’t work.

  16. ishkiwashka Says:

    You are the best! <3

  17. maxzzzie Says:

Hey xisuma. Congratulations on more then 1234 video’s. I hope you will go
    on to 12345.
But that is still far away.

  18. c.b Says:

  19. TheVekeFilms Says:

God damnit X! If you hold space: no fall damage and stops the jump.
If you hold shift: you take damage!!!!!!

  20. Fozzy Foster Says:

Well there are a few Xisuma Dictionary updates needed from this ;-)
