Easy fix. Just build a wall behind you and you wont get shot back,
dataless822 uses this design in his singleplayer and had the same problem
    untill he built the wall

Hey Xisuma, The falldamage on slimeblocks is only with holding shift. You
will not bounce again with shift. you will stand still when you land.
Holding spacebar works with no falldamage, but you bounce a little bit.
Then about the ladder thingy, It works in modsauce, with the panels, but
you need the ?travelers shoes? i think it is called. And a horse ofcourse.
This cake thing is better then the one that sl1p did on the horsetrack
hermitcraft 2. This one goes up 7 or 8 for each block you go to the front.
His one did only 4 or 3, so. Yeah, Tutorial time;)

Hey Xisuma did you see my Google+ message to you?

    Here’s why the slime blocks are unreliable;
Block movements are all server-side, player movement is client-side, so
there is practically zero synchronisation between client and server.

The best you can do it make the piston extend underneath the player, wait
until they settle on the slime block, then extend the slime block.
It will be slower, but you will be able to guarantee that the player gets
    pushed.

You’ll also have to lower the pistons to make sure the player doesn’t fall
below before the server sends the state to the client.

    The flow is:
    Client – I activated tripwire
    Server – Waiting
    ~ Lag ~
Client – I am standing still
Server – This tripwire is activated
    ~ Lag ~
Client – I am standing still
Server – This redstone is activated
    ~ Lag ~
Client – I am standing still
Server – This Slime block is extended
    ~ Lag ~
Client – I am moving upwards
    Server – Waiting
    ~ Lag ~
    Client – I activated tripwire
    Server – Waiting
    ~ Lag ~
    Client – I am falling
Server – This tripwire is activated
    ~ Lag ~
    Client – I am falling
Server – This redstone is activated
    ~ Lag ~
    Client – I am falling
Server – This Slime block is extended

So if the lag is too much then the client would have fallen too far for the
piston to activate and hit them in time.

This isn’t a problem in traditional online games as the client position and
motion is usually server side to prevent hacking, but Minecraft is weird
and keeps client position client-side (Which is why Minecraft can be easily
    hacked), so these problems happen.

The benefit of this is if the server is under-load and it’s simulation is
slowed down (Which causes a lot of lag) then the client movement is not
slowed down, there is no warping (except for block lag when you destroy
blocks or when the server decides to simulate your motion through a closed
    door).
You can see this with horse movement being very slow when servers are
under-load (horses are server-side) but walking is still fast. This is also
why you see teleporting players when the server is under load.

    You better watch out
    You better not cry
    Better not pout
    I’m telling you why
*Santa Void* is coming to town.
    -Xisuma Claus also works :P

  9. David Grahn Says:

You say you’re saving Block of Quartz by building with stairs instead, well
you actually LOSE Block of Quartz. It takes six blocks to do four stairs,
you lose a third of the blocks!

  10. Snocrash Says:

A cake ladder. Absolutely SENSATIONAL! I thought I’d seen it all.
    Well done :-)

  20. Antonio Spirache Says:

Hey +xisumavoid, you should use the spot across from the ender chest as a
spot for your mailbox. It is a cool idea and it’s very handy in case any
Hermits would like to leave you some mail or gifts ( preferably diamonds!
). I’m not sure if you’ll read this but please followers of Xisuma like
this comment so that he can see it; I think it’s a great idea!
