If water could be placed in the nether it would be great because, like endermen, blazes get injured by water.

Well he only took a bit of quartz, and that was for an item frame. I doubt he is going to really use quartz unless he needs to make comparators (Correct me if I spelled that wrong.) But who would need THAT much comparators.

I like what you do on the server and most is done for all the members, but you can bee a bit bold when it comes to claimeing space or resources.

For the shifting floors design u could make walls every 2 blocks running the length of the farm. That way the mobs stay in a 2 block area and can be put into funnels. The walls go on top of each other in each spawning platform. Hope this helps! :)

He uses a trapped chest next to a normal chest which basically just acts like a normal block.

It depends on how deep the lava is. If its like 2 blocks deep then yeah. It will work but how will you funnel them? Theyd just be partying in the lava. So your right.
