a cool room to have in the sandstone room would be a boat station with a undergorund water tunel that leads to the ocean :)

If 1.3 makes mobs spawn on half slabs, the whole lighting system in the mine would be irrelevant. Because then if you turn of the lights, mobs will spawn in the mine as well as above in the wiring area. I have to say that disappoints me that they’re making mobs spawn on half slabs now…

this is really an awesome channel overall and definitely probably one of the most compact (if not the most) potion labs ever. and this guy could really use more subs! he is amazing!

Nice design for the potion area, I worked on one of these about a month or so ago, but was never quite happy with the result as I ended up using levers for my modifiers =/. One problem you’re going to be running into with this is when you want to dispense weakness pots(Fermented eye and 3 water bottles) you’ll end up getting netherwart also. I did actually stumble upon a fix for that though if you’re interested =)

Oh, so those were pistons in the ceiling.. I thought they were furnaces, and I actually would’ve preferred that. I think it would look really cool if you have the branch mine dark with furnaces in the ceiling. That way you can smelt up some of the stuff you dig up, and it’ll temporarily light up the square that the furnace is in, giving a really eerie look, and serving a purpose at the same time.

Surround each light in the branch mine with solid blocks and then light up the area.
