I think you should keep the pumpkin and melon farms like they are because having the choice of getting melons or pumpkins i think is more important.

Make a minecart ladder in the neither wart farm, they’re the quickest way to ascend and you would have to hold down shift making planting easier.

xsiuma, you don’t have to get rid of the panes if you dont want to. you can also just break out the netherrack at the bottom where they catch and either leave an airspace or add panes.

They are removing the ability for ice to work in the nether along with that update, unfortunately.

What a coincidence I just uploaded my take on a netherwart farm this morning. I’m not sure if its more efficient then yours. Its fairly similar but I thought you might like it. I added it as a response.

I really love the cheery attitude you have in each video. It’s not overly cheery either, which is also good.
For the problem with mobs glitching I suggest you get betterSMP. It’s a client-side mod that fixes most issues with glitchy mobs.
