The ion blast does no damage to the ship you attack all it does is shut
things down

Should have hacked the cloak and mind control the shield so you’d take down
their defenses ASAP, then you can target the weapons with your weapons and
destroy those.

If you are wondering why he was attacking the door, it was hack, so he
couldn’t get threw. Bad idea to upgrade.

Don’t rush fights, keep the game paused, think about what youre going to do
and manage everything. There is no time limits on fights.

I think that the problem was that your helm was down the whole time, so you
had 0% evade/dodge for the whole fight.

not the worst defeat
I was one shot away from death when my burst laser fired and they were 1
shot away from death, when the super weapon went off, so I just cloaked
99% dodge chance, and the very last one hits me, 1 second away from my
laser firing again
First rule of games: RNG doesn’t like anyone.

X, you can actually mind-control people back. Like, if your pilot is
mind-controlled, just mind-control him yourself.

The little grey weapons that ships have are called bombs they teleport past
shields and damage the systems. If you stop the fires quick enough they
won’t do any hull damage.

What lost your fight at the end is that they mindcontrolled your pilot. If
no one is piloting the ship, the dodge drops to 0. That’s why you took an
incredible amount of laser/missiles.

Can’t speak to others’ reasons for advising you to put power in O2, but imo
it’s a good thing to do in case you get that system hacked; it can easily
make the difference in the (final) battle as the O2 goes to zero very
quickly ime. You don’t need to put any power in the extra ‘slot’ of course
beforehand.
