Floating Islands (New Sky Cap!) – LP #39
Minecraft 1.1 snapshot 12w07b is out, and they’ve increased the sky cap limit to 256. Now we can build huge tall structures…So today, I’m going to start a floating-island city above the clouds. make it like a lounge with fence or neather fence on the outer rim and the a glass dome on the inside with a fire pit in the middle and some chairs and table inside of the dome and don’t forgetplants

If you don’t want to have the island physically connected to the ground you could put a nether portal up there.
