I’m more interested in this series because there ISN’T a public version of
the mod pack you threw together for yourself. There isn’t anyone else doing
what you’re doing. Not 100, not 1000, not 10. Just you.

It’s so boring watching/ hearing about 50 ‘minecraft youtubers’ doing the
    same modpacks all the time.

So the fact this is a single player series, with a custom modpack not
released for anyone else excites me.

I do however agree with 1 complaint, and if it can’t be fixed everyone will
just have to deal with it. The info box for the items/ mods IS a little
obstructing. Is there no way to resize it? It’s 50% the length of the map
and twice as wide. It’s kinda really huge :P Not to mention it gets even
bigger depending on what mods/ info it’s telling you. I’m not asking if it
can be turned off, rather just resized? More for the sake of curiosity. I
like knowing what things are called (because I don’t play mods, they’re
tedious to set up and you have to use wikis to understand everything going
    on) but it’s HUGE :D

But I mean, seriously, it’s such a minor complaint I don’t want to hear
people getting on my case about it. None of the “Don’t like it don’t watch
it” comments because thats a little uncalled for. It’s a suggestion/
question for etho to consider. Matter of fact, I shall turn off replies
because I don’t trust the internet.

Hey Etho, I like the idea of the water village! However, if you do end up
deciding to build a main base anyway, maybe you can try to go with the
design from your first FTB episode (The one in the crescent-shaped
mountain). I really liked that base and can never get it just right. Anyway
just an idea. Enjoying the modpack so far! Keep up the good work!

    Awsome :)
If you take considerations for mods, you should add Botania. Awsome magic
    mod!

  4. Strongman300 Says:

Etho, instead of a village in ur other LP, you should make RUINS like in
    India and in Guatemala

  5. Ty Says:

I am so excited for this series!! Congrats Etho! :)

  6. RedstoneJunkyard Says:

I worry that when Etho made the pack, he was like a little kid making a
    sundae, didn’t change any configs.

“i want this and that, and that and that and this and that and this”

  7. BlueSpace70 Says:

Those trees look fucking great! Make a tree house pl0x

  8. TheOreo8u Says:

Like if you went in the future and saw that this series is something “truly
    amazing and wonderful and magnificent!”

  9. NoMercy8008 Says:

I’m really excited for this series, thanks a lot! <3 :)

few things/tipps about the pack: i haven’t seen all the mods in there, you
were kinda too fast, I hope that no interesting/important stuff is missing
    ^.^ I haven’t seen botania, that’s something I’d highly suggest if it isn’t
in already. Blood magic is also really, really nice.

about releasing the pack: I think neither the author of fastcraft nor the
mo’creatures guy want their mods released in packs, so you’d have to remove
these before releasing the pack to the public and maybe add some advice to
anually add these mods if poeple want to.

third thing: i hope you like lag, you will have problems with it, I’m
    pretty sure :)

  10. Sam Borgman Says:

Never really watched a whole modded series before, but you doing this
custom modpack seems like its going to be fun to watch!

  11. DreadKyller Says:

You can release the custom BoP if you get permission from the original mod
maker. Either that or you can create a patch file to be applied, which
means you never distribute the modified file itself. Glitchfiend is
typically a nice person, and if glitch won’t let you distribute it, maybe
he’ll be kind and host it for you. I’d say the patch file is the easiest
way to go, and it makes the changes optional.

  12. WhosCallumm Says:

Love the series already Etho! Only thing I could suggest changing is
perhaps the info box that keeps appearing at the top of the screen? It gets
quite annoying after a while of it popping up. You probably know all the
blocks already so i doubt you even need it! :) Keep up the good work
    buddy!

  13. Squidm Says:

with this series you should try to set a goal every 10 episodes or so and
you have to try to complete that goal in the fastest time possible?
    (just an idea)

  14. Jollofloff Says:

I hope this turns out fun but i realy think you need to make the effort to
make this mod down-loadable to the public for the feeling that you actually
learn something you can apply when you play yourself. Otherwise this will
feel like a waste of time to watch…

  15. Koran Harwood Says:

etho on a blood moon you cant sleep and mobs spawn closer to you than
normal, and the bllod moon is from random things i think not blood magic
    like most people think lol

  16. Caleb Miller Says:

Etho you need a new intro for this series! I might try to make one, even
though I have never attempted to do so…

  17. Dave Bortner Says:

    FACEPALM You break the apple.

  18. Sam Morse Says:

I was really worried that this series was gonna turn out like every other
modded survival series, but I’m really relieved it has a unique and
interesting mods! Btw, the blood moon is in terraria, so maybe the solar
    eclipse will come up
eventually. (Tons of hard different mobs)

  19. SoccerJax7 Says:

LOL. Look in the description… His Single Player LP download is there!
    *Fail*
