Hey paul if you like DayZ then try the chernarus life servers, they are basically a real life roleplay E.G. You get a job, you can get cars, there are laws, police and you can rob banks be terrorists etc etc… you would love it paul!

You might get this a lot, but what are your specs processor and graphics card-wise? I happened to notice you got about 30fps recording IN electro! :D

Look I didn’t mean to stir up so much controversy. I do however, agree and disagree to your statement. While true not as many people KOS at the coast now, the other well armed people are coming to the coast to kill the newly spawned people for “fun” Ever since 1.7.1.0 came out, I have died within the first 5-15 minutes from bandits with AK’s more than ever.

this game seems to still have a lot of issues so i will probably wait until these aree fixed before thinking about buying it..

Stop encouragin people to Shoot on sight because it’s stupid. I came across a pretty big group yesterday and they helped me out a ton (found me good weapons and a ghillie suit).

Why do you think I said it’s sad to do. Sometimes its better not to. I am in a group of 4 with a Huey now because I didn’t but 95% of the time you don’t, you get killed. Because of all the people who find it fun to massacre new players, it’s almost a new general rule of thumb. I’ve been killed within the first 5 minutes of starting at least 20 times now by players. Like I said, DayZ has become a 225kmx225km deathmatch with some zombies. Sorry for encouraging it, I hate to do it. =/

And please don’t think of people who KOS as bad people. The bad people are bandits who, rather play a zombie survival, like to go around and piss people off by killing them when they are looting. It’s because of all those people who did that, that the game became more of a PvP then survival. That’s why I want a SP version. No loosing hours and hours of work from one bullet delivered by a bandit sitting for hours watching an airfield just to kill people to make them upset. =(

Ok, so it took me a while to figure out what KOS meant (Kill On Sight) but i figure Paul of all people I subscribe to would not be the type to KOS. When I first started playing this game the main thing that intrigued me about it was the potential it had to have interesting intense situations with people that you meet within and the various interactions that could arise from those situations. A KOS attitude retracts from this potential and makes the game just another free for all shooter…

I’m a big fan Paul, but I have to say, I’m massively disappointed with your KOS policy. If you’re running into trouble in the big cities, go somewhere else…I’m happy to say I’ve never fired a shot at another player, and survived for weeks. And what’s with running everywhere? No wonder you’re getting aggro.
