DayZ Let’s Play – Episode 1 – Welcome to Chernarus
In this our first let’s play of DayZ we start the series as we spawn in Chernarus. Some of us get together quickly with some basic weapons Yet others need to work their way to us. In this series for the first time we use multiple camera angles so you can see the gameplay footage from different players perspectives. How will we handle the harsh world of Chernarus? A world infected with Zombies, and other players friendly or not lurking around the world! Will we survive? Stay tuned. DayZ is a free mod for the Arma 2 engine. I have no idea whatsoever what DayZ is!!! I’m not sure if I like it. I like the crew, but I’m not sure if DayZ us my thing. You guys understand that. I’m more of a Minecraft person.

Piper is a beast, it’s surprising how good she is a games. The alternate viewpoints are great but it’s obvious that Kama is having framerate issues. DayZ is a great game for the crew to play as well since playing with friends requires a lot of communication. It seems Boz is a lot more talkative. I’m liking that you guys are branching out to different games and I hope you find other games that work well with the crew. Also, KF from Piper’s perspective would be pretty awesome :)

Belboz’ capture is significantly smoother than Piper or Kama’s. I do like the alternate viewpoints but it’s kind of hard to watch them with the choppiness.
That opening music is also really cool. Hans Zimmer meets Pop goes the Weasel (in some kind of minor key).

LOL I didn’t hear it as the icecream music. I think in the UK we must have a different song. I think it’s an evil version of pop goes the weasel. :)

Love the new series, I like the way you change the angles of the camara. maybe you should do that with the minecraft series to, than we could see every pushy piper move :P
