IMO the cards should be consumables rather than regenerating. Gives more
reason to collect candy to buy them.

Paul, the “x Battles Left” means you have to wait X number of battles
before you can use that card again.. in other words, they take time to
“recharge.” They don’t “run out” per se (i.e. you can keep on using them,
just have to pause X battles between each use). You’re right, it’s best to
save them for tougher battles (e.g. boss battles), especially the
higher-powered cards.
And, yeah, the abundant random battles are par for the course when playing
this style of RPG… you get used to it… pretty soon you’ll be able to
click right through most non-boss fights without even looking/paying
attention, like you’re on autopilot. :)

I think it’s the other way around, when you use your cards, you can’t use
them EVERY battle, they have a cool down of X battles. So the better the
card the longer you have to wait to use it? I would imagine that the 1/2
enemy health card would have a crazy cool down time.

That Bubble Barf card reminded me of the Garbage Pail Kids cards I used to
collect as a kid. They were way more gross, though.
