[Beta 1.6 Tall Grass and Shrubs]

Today was the release of Minecraft Beta 1.6 which included the addition of tall grass and shrubs within the game. Right now, both of those blocks are being used solely for aesthetic purposes. I wonder if in the future Notch will give them a purpose soon. The tall grass can be found throughout different biomes, whereas the shrubs are only found in the desert biome. minecraftchick.com

you can use bonemeal to grow tall grass just place it on dirt and a lot of tall grass grows.

you can make tall grass by using bone meal on grass (it may spawn flowers) it is like a 7×7 square its pretty big

you can use bonemeal on grass blocks if you want to grow grass on it

I would place tall grass as seaweed underwater… and yes, catch Pokemon in it. :D

You can make tall grass appear my using bonemeal on the grass
