really useful or mob spawners, you can walk in and collect drops, without things landing on your head.

You could just linkthe two ressure plate to two piston facing each other, with a gap of 2 blocks between, and a block between.
the position of the block say if wich of the two pressure plates was step on last.

@xisumavoid HALF slab floor with stair/upside-down stair open windows. Completely mob proof, yet can be very open and dark!

@xisumavoid Can you explain the halfslabs? Do you mean monsters wont spawn on halfslabs of any kind?

@ctrlaltmine you could do that, but an sr latch is way easier to make and works just :)
