Bah. Cain needed tears up, not just a bit of damage up. Faster shots would have helped so much with that triple shot.

I know that from my own experience, but then I unlocked 3-4 endings, 3 mom ending and that satan ending, now, I don’t know if that’s an bug, but when I had killed mom around 3-4 times I got the devil room at moms heart, and after that I killed satan (had decent stats and a lot of hearts) with Judas, and then I got 6 mom kills, and a lot of new unlocks. So I think that you should try satan always as you still get the item. from my own experience, I unlocked dr.fetus when going into the devil room

And there is possible to increase the chance of the devil room to appear in the current floor, a few of them is: Kill a beggar, don’t get hurt on the floor, and don’t get hurt at the boss. now, the wiki has probably more precise information, but check it out on your wish, I’m not going to, since I know that you don’t like doing it either, though such free information might feel somewhat the same though.. Oh well, this is all your choice. Sorry for my English if I ever do make some grammar errors

So I haven’t seen the whole episode yet. but as I saw, Cain do shoot only from his one eye, he shoots straight,wich makes him more accurate. Also you should really try to beat satan, I know that you haven’t had the opportunity yet. but you should try when you have good stats and a lot of hearts, killing satan before having 10 mom kills, makes you progress faster, since I think that satan yealds another mom kill, and you still get the item from the mom kill, animation you can view at the stats
