hoping i won’t drown in all the other comments, maybe you could cover the
entire floor in ice, then have water streams pulse every 2-3 minutes, and
then collect everything with hoppers/hopper minecarts in the middle? Then
the togglemode would simply leave the water on which would flush all the
guardians to the collection point. Saves redstone and tracks, easy to build
but then again the water updates might cause lag, i’m sure you know better
than me what the server can handle. There is ofcourse also the issue that
some guardians are likely to land as the water streams are on, but a
crusher or similar should be able to handle those.

Why do you need a whopper AND waterstreams? The items could be transported
be waterstreams too…

I dont understand how you can dig, and dig, and dig for sooo long. Digging
out the wasteland, digging out this farm. I cant even build a courthouse
without getting bored. (On my smp)

Oh Xisuma… you overlooked it…. you could just make the carts go
perpendicular to the water…

Hey xisuma why do you worry about the items not collected? the water stream
will bring then down to a place where they can get picked up

why don’t you make the direction trough which the water flows perpendicular
to the direction of the minecarts disregarding the need for the minecart to
go up or down as they move along a row so some minecarts will simply be
lower down then others.

Dear xisuma, why dont you use cactus to destroy de minecart and send it to
its starting point using a hopper chain and a dispenser?

The guardians fall and they die then after about 4 mins switch the farm
off(turn off water dispensers) then used water streams to push the items
towards hoppers then into a chest :-)

idk if it would work or not but could you not just fill the whole of the
bottom floor with hoppers instead of using minecarts?

I mean in theory it’s a nice idea to make this a double farm, but in
reality you already have the end-farm for this and this is never going to
be as efficient and guardians will give you a lot of problems, since they
can target you trhough blocks a lot of the time.
If I were you I wouldn’t bother. Just let them drop down and kill them with
fall damage. Much less hassle.
