My suggestion that you change the Guide room with the one that the Painter
is using.
BTW, “Notch’s hat” is called fedora, that is the same hat of Indiana Jones.
And there is a old vanity outfit called Archaeologist’s Suit, based on
Indy. =)

Something that you may not have noticed etho is that when you hover over an
item and if it can be crafted into anything else it will say “material”.
Then take it to the guide.

Hey etho when you get to hardmode dont craft wings, remember craft ah
overboard its a lot better than wings it can let you hover and fly

I just don’t get Terraria…

Etho, make sure you block off your mineshaft in hard mode. There is an
enemy that does 100 damage, and can technically fly. It’s name is *blocked
to prevent spoilers*

When water touches a lava block occupied by a stalagmite it disappears and
the lava fails to convert into obsidian. To stop it just hit the glitched
out lava block with your pick. I ran into this last night.

I used to play Terraria, and am starting back up. But I need help. When
in the inventory screen, if you shift-click an item it goes into the trash
at the bottom of the inventory. If you shift-click again, it deletes the
first item that was put in there. Being a LONG time Minecraft player- it’s
habit to shift-click. I played less than an hour tonight and already have
deleted my first item this way. Thankfully a wood item. But how do I fix
this? I don’t want to wait untill I am deleting platinum! Can I get rid of
the trash option? Remap the the key somehow? I really am hoping I don’t
have to retrain myself to not shift-click…but if that is the case, please
tell me. Thanks!
Posting here because I KNOW there are Minecraft-ers playing Terraria, and I
have spent hours looking for answers with no success. :(
(btw, if you see this Etho- my family and I have been watching your videos
for a LONG time! Keep up the good work. Huge players and fans of
Minecraft and the boys are really into your Terraria videos right now. But
what I am into the most- is you keep the language clean and video’s kid
friendly. Thank You Very Much! ~LJ)

I think that when blocks with decorative objects on them (such as
stalagmites or piles of bones) are submerged in lava it prevents that space
from changing into obsidian but the water is still lost trying to convert
it. This may also apply to half blocks. You’ll want to keep an eye out and
smooth the surface under the lava if you deal with it again.

i think you kind of unlucky to not get this advice or i forgot the first
episodes: click on the guide and click crafting. then place any item that
can be crafted into the open space and then you can see everything you can
make with that item in the game

red+yellow+orange=flame, flame+flame=intense flame.
you can also make blue flame and green flame.
p.s with items that say material ask the guide about them, you might find
something you like.
