    What if you want the output to be in torches?
    E.g. 10 torches, 1 push = 1 torch on etc.

  3. EcrofLeinad Says:

    @Minecraftaddict There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don’t.

    @Minecraftaddict I want to make a minecraft store so i have to use a binary counter, but i dont get a shit about this. can you please explain to me how i have to connect this to my output.

  5. NeedForSpeedgamer24 Says:

    Can some one explain to me what the point of a binary counter is?

  6. dogfreak3000 Says:

    @LevanEvan Hey! :D

  7. Minecraftaddict Says:

    @EcrofLeinad Ya. I never could get the hang of binary. Sorry bout that.

  8. EcrofLeinad Says:

    @NeedForSpeedgamer24 Redstone operates in binary states (on or off) so if you are going to count something using redstone you are best off to do it in binary. How you use that capability is up to you; although, I do agree that alone it isn’t of much use beyond it’s novelty appeal.

  9. ellisg12 Says:

    @EcrofLeinad yeah, i noticed that too

  10. MrGemeco Says:

    @neverXuploadXvideos Simply make a detector for it.

  11. LevanEvan Says:

    @dogfreak3000 Hey :}

  12. squaids667 Says:

    The things people do with redstone its… its… just fucking insane

  13. Minecraftaddict Says:

    @NeedForSpeedgamer24 In my case I needed something to count how many button pushes I make and then reset the lock if that’s not the right combo. TL/DR: To count shit.

  14. xZenithik Says:

    Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but its a 1 tick pulse because as soon as the piston moves the block out of the way, the wire behind becomes unpowered since redstone dust wont become powered through a piston. If that makes sense.

  15. roboticaust Says:

    @EcrofLeinad
    It’s actually a bad redstone habit a lot of us have even if we know binary prior to ever touching the game. I always do redstone binary in reverse because I tend to build left to right like most players do.

    Well today I built a castle.
