Dripping Lava (Texture Pack Fix) – Minecraft
After adding lava above my new Jungle Portal Room to give the dripping lava effect, I noticed some nasty lava particles floating above the fence posts and stairs. This showed up in both the default texture pack and my other packs. Just a quick video tutorial to show you how to remove the weird lava lines in your Minecraft texture pack so it doesn’t look like you have floating lava pieces all over the place. —————————————————————————— Texture Pack: (Customized) John Smith. My ‘How to edit your Minecraft texture pack’ vid has the details/links: www.youtube.com

@BAMitsCHEESE I hear that ‘getpaint(dot)net’ is a good free image editor, but have never tried it.

@WooneyOne I showed the default texture pack too, and the lines show up. it’s caused because the lava was dripping onto transparent blocks like fences and stairs. but no worries now. :)

With the jungle theme and all, wouldn’t you think dripping water would add more of an effect?

@monkeyfarm If anyone needs a free opensource “Photoshop alternative” GIMP is the way to go. Just go to Gimp.org. Love the videos monkey =P.
