Well, you can make really fast turrets by pulling a lever. That’s cool!!! Sethbling did it in his Crossfire game!

    ?

  3. IRWBRW964 Says:

    This is old.

  4. TheMcDucky Says:

    @Jellyinatardis
It’s been used since the dispenser update.

you seem to find strange glitches. when I was watching you trying to work with a T-flip flop (I believe) it worked fine alone but when you tried to connect it together with other ones to try to see which one was faster it stopped working properly even when isolated with a repeater.

Dispensers have always needed another input with 1 tick clocks

I made a video covering the effects that redstone can have on pistons and dispensers that are two blocks away (focusing on pistons, but the exact same mechanics apply to dispensers except that dispensers “activate” every time they update while they remain powered whereas pistons cannot extend further once they are already extended… also, dispensers are limited to only activating once every 0.2 seconds): watch?v=94JXHj9DJ10

SUPER OLD GLITCH! Tavirider did a video on this ages ago. I think in march or something.

  9. XanmoX Says:

This is an old dispenser glitch, a one tick pulse is not powering a dispenser but if you apply power to it, it checks the block around the dispenser to see if they are powered, tho it checks two blocks(dno why but it does) and acts like a bud in some ways.

Another way to make this is to make a clock that is on one tick and of one, and place it under the dispenser with one of the corners of the clock directly under the dispenser and then power it up, and you will experience this “update” glitc

question is can you triple the speed…?

I found this out a long time ago when I made my sentry gun, but I didn’t think it was odd than :) /watch?v=MVw4V-fSfBc&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

  12. NikWillOrStuff Says:

@selulancie it’s not redstone, it’s every thing else: pistons, dispensers, and sand/gravel mainly. well, since 1.0.0 not sand/gravel any more

  13. Minecraftian1379 Says:

When a one tick pulse is delivered to a dispenser, it doesn’t recognize the current, although if you provide power via a torch or lever, it will then notice it, because it checks the blocks up to two blocks away from the dispenser which is why the non connected redstone made it twice as fast. Hope this helps!

  20. selulancie Says:

@NikWillOrStuff Redstone Torches are especially annoying, especially on SMP.
