You can use brainy bees which are made with Skulking (Mysterious+Desolate) and Decaying (Desolate+Modest) bees and they spawn angry zombies near that apiary.

Etho you can still use the redwood saplings, you could place a relay on top of the fermenters.

Hey etho, set filters to pull out stacks into fermenters and if it will still jam up you just have to use chest to store them and relay to check if they can be placed so you wont build up ton of them in that chest. Give me some credit ;)

Just color the pipe from the log filter to not have sapling go back into it. You should also not try to refill one sapling at a time, that is just ineffecient and adds unnecessary lag. Just lengthen your pulse and have it pull out a few at a time. That way you also don’t get as much problems with them getting backstuffed, because there is more room in the fermenter. The awesome thing about the filters is that they can pull out full stacks, make use of it!

Put a relay on the top of each fermenter for the saplings to go into
April 26th, 2013 at 9:39 AM
Etho,
why wouldn’t you work with plants balls ?
They can be inserted in a fermenter with Buildcraft pipes and you can craft them super fast with a fabricator (from Xycraft).
Bye

Its not hard to get dull shards.. Just drain the vis in one area :D

can you still make compressed plant balls and ferment those?
Redwood saplings should work for that.
