But what if you placed different colored glass over the beacon, which color
would it have? Like if you place a red one, then a blue one on top. Which
color will the beacon have?

Hey Xisuma, i heared someone saying that if you throw an egg on grass or
dirt, it has a higher chance of spawning a chicken than any other block,
and I’m not sure if it’s true, so could you test it please :D ?

This was the subject of my first video response to DocM77 back when the
crafting recipe came out in snapshot 12w36a… been a lot of new blocks
since then :-P

DUDE it makes no sence to try out all sorts of wood, slabs, ores and stone.

It’s normal the beacon beam passe trough the item frame cause it’s an
entity not a block, the beam passe trough him like he pass trough a pig :)

never messed with beacons much but got 1 question. dose the block type its
sitting on ie: iron gold diamond….. make the effect stronger any?

I seem to recall seeing this over on /r/minecraftsuggestion actually,
however they suggested it be depending on the glass used when crafting the
beacon. This way would definetly be better though, allowing for more
dybnamic customization.

that last thing will be great for Etho. he wanted 2 beacons to show who
captured a capturepoint and he was doing that with flashing beams but this
is much easier and clearer
