You may have tried to run Minecraft in 32bit on your laptop. I have the same problem. Magic Launcher automatically sets it to 64bit when you load it though.

creative is fine, don’t bother with unfinished stuff unless it looks good as is, and flying is also fine.

I managed to do something similar with my little toe and actually dislocated it. I hope you haven’t dislocated it as mine still hurts after a year.
