yeah Iron can be a bit tedious to find. luckily I started on 2 large patches of iron and coal. though I got like no room for housing or farms xD

Paul, you should Indie Test Drive A Valley Without Wind! It’s sorta a metroidvania/roguelike, procedurally generated 2D platformer and it’s crazy addictive!!

turn 180′ and there is an N.P.C village with a blacksmith and in the chest is 1 diamond 2 gold 1 iron pick 1 iron sword and 3 SAPPY’S!!! and also the village is a bit ummmmm unique ;)
