PAX Minecraft Adventure Update 1.8 Preview
Check out the new Adventure Update. Notch revealed part of the new 1.8 Adventure update for Minecraft that will be released in the next couple weeks. This update includes MANY new aspects. Some of the features are: a hunger bar, skill points (to be determined what they will do), new food items, a new mob (Enderman) and a choice between entering creative or survival mode. In creative mode, you do not need to mine anything and will have access to all materials and also the ability to fly.

Mojang PAX Booth
Here’s one of the big things I’ve been working on for Mojang, the PAX 2011 booth. I worked on incorporating the blocks on the outside and fully designing the booth. We were excited to show off our new game Cobalt along with the Minecraft Adventure Update demo! We also showed off a video for our upcoming game Scrolls.

Minecraft – Hardcore Flatlands Survival – Episode 2
In this new series we are tackling hardcore mode but with a twist. The world is flat so resources are VERY scarce. Plus in hardcore mode if you die you are out of the game. I have also set an invisible circular boundary around the spawn point of 1000 blocks. So there is a limited amount of space also! Who will be the last person standing? Stay tuned.
