Build up to sky limit with sand. Place TNT at sky limit. Put obsidian under the TNT. Place a bucket of lava on the bottom of the obsidian block, then dig down fast as to not get consumed by lava.
Then you’d have a TNT block at sky limit with a stream of lava preventing the other team from digging upwards. I imagine you could also try and place more streams of lava around it.

I’m really surprised team 2 didn’t loot the village for wood…nor that team 1 didn’t burn down the town either. :)

I see no reason to disallow obsidian. Finding diamonds (which isn’t that hard to do) and get obsidian (or make it) and encase TNT around obsidian is a great plan.
Even if you don’t have diamonds, you can break obsidian. It just takes a long time.

Belboz, have you noticed the two times fraps glitched was when there was a structure involving obsidian? It’s weird. lol

I have a suggestion plz like if you agree. Why don’t you do it like a ultra hardcore where it’s 4v4 and they have to defend there teams TNT and the the other team defends Thera and on episode 3 make them be on hard core and they battle it out

Why is the team that I want to see find the tnt always get cut out!?!?

No, they can break it with whatever they want, they just won’t get the obsidian block..

I would also suggest encasing the dynamite in obsidian…just create a place with four of them in a square with a center empty, then place the dynamite, finally put a piece of cobble on top. Then just work to put at least a piece of obsidian on top and around that cobble to seal it it. Since you won’t have time to get diamond, it will take forever for folks to dig it out. In other words Boz, you probably need to also disallow obsidian for the game or it will just get ridiculous. :)

With how many FPS do you record the video’s?

You’d need a double thickness of obsidian, and even put it on the diagonals for that to be really effective. If you’ve got TNT on one side of an obsidian block, putting the lever anywhere on the obsidian and flipping it lets the charge pass through the block. *BOOM* Lot of work for nothing.
Unless the rules have been updated to ensure the lever must be on the TNT to explode it, but I don’t remember hearing that anywhere.

Cover the TNT with obsidian then they need a diamond pick to brake it!!!

LOL season 5 of stop the boom might have fraps problems because season 1 and 3 had fraps problems, and going with the pattern season 5 stop the boom might have fraps problems. Just hope no mroe frap problems. (I want to see more grass growing)

Well, on the plus side of the recording mishap, nobody could tell by watching the first assault and comparing it to the full video length just which team won, thus increasing the suspense.
