Oh boy….
You killed Aldis, the Captain of the Guard, someone who is needed in about three quests.
And you passed the Inn several times…

Because I like to play it like paul, not focusing on quests but what I would do in the situation,I leave the civil war alone and just kill any Thalmor I see, and most soldiers on the road.

Paul, going to jail and paying off your bounty are basically same thing except you’ll have to pay your bounty. So next time, go to jail

Do you know that when leveling up you completely restore all atributes (magica, health and stamina). So it can be useful to level up in combat. :)

Nicely spotted there with Sybille Stentor. However, she’s not related with the Dawnguard DLC. Small spoiler: She’s a vampire herself; that’s why she has her eyes.

Ouch, Paul…by killing Captain Aldis you just borked a quest. =/

Not always. If you join the Stormcloaks, there will be a new independent Skyrim, meaning that than the next war comes there will be less help for the empire. Aldmeri Dominion will win the most if the Stormcloaks win the civil war, because the empire will be divided. Also, if you speak with the Jarl in Riften, she admits she does not believe Ulfric and his speeches, and she thinks that Ulfirc is doing this all just because he wants more power. Even though that Jarl is sided with the Stormcloaks.
