RS NOR Latch Array! Sequential Memory Cell [Advanced Minecraft Redstone Tutorials]

This is essential for circuitry involving seven segment displays and combination locks! Am I the only one who doesn’t get how the AND gates work? It works perfectly fine, I just can’t figure out how it actually affects the whole system in the video and I hate building redstone stuff without knowing how it works. Can anybody help me pls? :(
Awesome videos btw!

Hello, the 1st torch (for the combination lock) always remains lit. Is there a fix for this?
February 17th, 2012 at 8:20 PM
@StormShoutt thats because the 1.0.0 update ! i found a way!
just do exactly the same he did whit the reapeters but dig the reapeters and redstone one block down except the redstone that should power the torch
and remember to have a redstone wire UNDER the minecraft torch that should power the redstone…
if that make sense , thumbs this up so other can see!

Great tutorial! I was building a rollercoaster and wanted to build a bridge that pops up using pistons when a detector rail is triggered. This RS NOR latch made it possible to do so so thank you!
