I think your freezer is too big for one cooler. Try placing another cooler
in the freezer or divide it in half and give each one their own cooler. The
heater in the kitchen was OK. I keep a heater in my kitchens to heat-up my
cooks so that they do not get too cold from going into the freezer. Your
freezer also has two storage area in it. You can expand a storage are by
selecting it then drag out a larger area. Making a grave for each pirate
may get tiresome I just make a corpus dumpsite far away for the colony and
let them rot, save the graves of the colonist.

Hey! have you ever tried playing prison architect? I’ve seen some game play
for it and it looks really fun! But no one plays games like you, and i know
i’ll like it a lot more with you playing it. If you got the time, check it
out! :)

Im buried in too, Paul!
:D
Luckily we still have power though or else itd be really cold.
We have a hill in my backyard and we dug a half-tunnel through the snow and
now my family and I can go tobogganing in our own backyard!
So far the blizzard has been fun. I hope your family stays safe and has fun
too!
Cheers,

The Lee Enfield is fulfilling the role of a sniper in this game, so armor
vest doesn’t make much sense on punchwood. You should put it on someone who
gets into close combat like a melee fighter or a shotgunner, or at the
person with the most wounds.

+paulsoaresjr Might want to give Porthos some better clothing, doesn’t look
very protective… Stay warm, Paul!

Hospital beds aren’t bad but they require quite a lot of steel AND medicine
to build. Those might be a bit more endgame. I think it was like 300 steel
and 10 medicine to build. You don’t really want to use your good medicine
on a bed so it might be better to hold off on em till you have the xerigium
harvested (also a good idea to use hydroponics to grow those rather than
outside because hydroponics grows much faster).
Personally I’d go with gun turret cooling (shoot 4 shots instead of 3) and
probably hydroponics. Then colored lights just for fun since the rest I
feel are kinda “meh”
Cremation is good if you have a lot of corpses building up and you don’t
want to dig graves. Machining I’m not sure about but only useful for when
you fight machines. Electric smelting felt underwhelming to me, it’s
supposed to extract steel (and other resources maybe?) from slag but it
didn’t seem to extract very much steel for the amount of work and power it
consumes.
After you’re done with the gun turret cooling, hydroponics, and hospital
bed the rest are kind of just whatever you want and not really necessary
from my experience. I have no experience with the mortars. It unlocks 3
turrets I believe but they have to be manned. They didn’t seem good to me
just reading what they do.

Granades are close range AOE, give them to the colonist with the least
shooting proficiency, Don’t bother recearching Mortars (they are so
inacurate It’s useless).

Cassandra? Throwing a snowstorm at Paul Soares Jr? What’s she going to
throw at him next, a rabid squirrel?

Make your little peeps clean up the floor, they get unhappy with all the
blood and rocks all over the place.
And don’t place your batteries outside, they’ll explode in the rain.
