You might want to cut the trees down from inside the rooms.

Also anything that deals with power exept power generators, doors and
conduits, blow up and make a fire in rain. Batterys can explode in rain
(and the cook stove! Man!) And batterys can blow up (and conduits) if power
has nowhere to go and blows up. And you may want to pay attention to the
campfires, because solar flares can probably shut down heaters and shuts
down standing lamps. If someone has an outbreak, he will use a weapon he is
carrying, including guns, to defeat his enemy. I recommend you dont make
the rooms smaller. If you make prisoner rooms small, consider making the
prison in the mountain. There, use a silver door. Because of this, he will
never break the mountain, instead the door.If you make it part of your
house, consider using lots of silver doors or anything stronger. If you
want your prisoner happy, go to his prisoner and enable the talky warden
things, and, the convincing. If your hiring him, give him medicine, and a
medical bed. Or he may have scars. Scars are permanent (think so) and still
makes him sad. If someone becomes sick, USE AS MUCH TREATMENT AS HE CAN
(including a medical bed)
He may even die if he missis 1 treatment! So when he has extreme on
sickness, the stakes of surviving is low. Just consider him dead if he is
at extreme for a few days.
And to see if a group will attack you or not, go to overveiw. If its red he
dosent like you, and hostile he will attack you. Good luck on RimWorld.
And id love to get someone from a pod without prisoning him. To me, its
jist cruelty.
Tell the creater to add that. And man, this text is long.

Hey Paul, so what you want to do, is change the cooking table to always
have like 10 meals, and the butchery table to butcher forever. Also, all
door and some electrical items act as a conduit.

Wooo! More Rimworld, mooooore!
Am thinking of starting in a boreal forest too, but desert was fun,
especially when the heatwave hit. Got up to 120ish degrees outside.

Place Powerlines into your walls.
Make your food storage Zone priority “critikal” so it will used for food
and medicine until there is no space left.
You should also do something like a little house just for your batteries.
but keep in mind that your people need access to front and back of the
batteries … they tend to blow up and catch fire … :P

The conduit ( or anything that holds power, such as batterys and doors)
(and yes a door stores energy) can be about 4 blocks away. YOUR WASTING
CHILIS PREACEOUS MINED COAL!!! *cough* I mean metal.

Omg the squirrel xD I had a Rhino get stuck indoors because I finished
building my walls, then he migrated into someones room and never left. I
was so scared it would go crazy and kill everyone but it eventually starved
to death. I then butchered it and cooked it’s delicious meat.
Power conduits don’t have to be directly adjacent to a vast majority of
buildings that require power (for example you can put two power cells next
to each other with running a conduit only to 1).
If you have a power conduit down first you can see how far buildings (or
lamps) can be placed away from it to still be powered (I believe it’s 4
spaces though). You may have already figured this out though.
