I think it’s really helpful that you tell us what the temperatures are in
Centigrade, otherwise I would be clueless, because 80 degrees – phew! – Oh,
you mean 30

Your colonists will starve come winter; your food storage will need to be
bigger, and full. You’d be surprised how much food they eat, seeing as they
seem to be sleeping all the time. :)

If you made them all share rooms wood (pun intended) saved a lot of wood

You can make holes between rooms so that you only use one fire and it
doesn’t get too hot

Paul are you going to continue any minecraft or legend of hoodie? I’m
getting sad because I loved those series. :(

5×6 also does the trick and gves you odd numbers to work with… but i
guess that’s the nitty gritty with numbers he doesn’t care about :)

STARBOUNDER TIPS- You NEVER want to go Solar, the eclipse event is far too
frequent, Your started power source is best as a wind farm. I heavily
recommend researching geothermal power ASAP.

+paulsoaresjr If you build your base in the Mountain it becomes easier to
build and cheaper and easier to defend
and if you play a older world on a newer version it won’t work that’s what
I was told from the Dev

I absolutely adore this game.
It can very, VERY quickly eat away all your time while you play it though,
hehe.
Better keep one eye on the clock while you record this ;)
Also you might want to check out a few mods for this game, to make it
easier to manage. Such as the “Edb Interface” mod, basically it puts icons
for your colonists on the top of your screen, so you can quickly go to who
you need. :)

If they have food what about water

I don’t think the 27 floor spaces for rooms are worth it, at least not in
the beginning. People seem to say the benefit is very minimal. And seeing
as it takes up so much space I’d go with maybe 3×3 rooms or whatever you
feel is acceptable.
OR, just make like a larger temporary bedroom area where they can all sleep
until you get the resources/time to make individual bedrooms. It does save
up quite a lot of resources and space in the beginning. You can then turn
that place into an infirmary or something else later on.
Either way, really enjoying this and excited to see more of it ;]

just a quick tip in case you didn’t know. you can build doors into walls.
Also, a common noob trap with the freezers is not giving them a vent to
outdoors, make sure the hot side is in an outside block!
