I just sent out my registration thing and said I will get Mumble. But what is the mumble server I have to connect to? Like I just neeed a name or something or will that info be sent in the email telling me if I got in?

I’m rather new to minecraft. But after watching TONS of your previous videos, I would really like to join. You guys all seem so fun and nice! I really hope by the time I sign up and pay for minecraft, that this server is still open. I have a working mic too. :)

Wow, I would love to know who said that as well. It costs time and money to do these open servers… we don’t have to do them either but we do. Not many other channels do things like we do for their fans! Could you PM me the post where you read this please? :)

There are two reasons we do it
1) There is no such thing as non-premium. You are running a cracked version of Minecraft, a Pirated copy. We don’t condone this, and think people should pay Mojang the small price they charge for Minecraft
2) In order to support pirated copies you have to put the server in offline mode. Which means it doesn’t verify paid minecraft accounts. So we can’t enforce any real ban control since people pirating minecraft can come in with any username they want

I think you guys are great at being social and letting people join in and it’s pretty obvious why you don’t just go around willy-nilly letting people join the crew but I don’t understand why you don’t let non-premium members join your open servers..?

Um..the whole point of the open servers is for people to JOIN IN. Would be very interesting to know who exactly was saying that, because that is not true at all. We always try and get our fans involved when we can, it’s quite annoying and upsetting to know someone has been falsely bad mouthing us like that. Haters gonna hate I guess. :)

Last time, they would send you a confirmation e-mail. Then on the day they would send you the Mumble server address and other details.

I was under the impression you didn’t allow people who were not part of your “Group” to join in the fun. I read this on a minecraft forum, someone posted a comment after someone posted one of your videos and they described the “MIneCraft Crew” is being anti social and a very closed group. I guess they were wrong.

lol,would love to see who posted the comment you are referring to. More than likely someone upset we didn’t add them to the Crew. Sadly I get asked that question all the time. It is just not feasible.
We have ALWAYS done open servers for the fans to come and play with us.We did a netherdome tournament with the fans. We do the live streams (like we are tomorrow) so people can come chat with us. Plus we are allowing some of the fans to come be part of Season 3 of the Mole! Totally not anti-social
