I see two MAJOR problems with this:
1. I’m sure the code that makes Minecraft run on these consoles is
dramatically different, and mods for PC Minecraft rely on deep access to
the game code. To bring mods over, 4J would probably have to rebuild those
mods from scratch in order for them to work.
2. Mods tend to pull a lot more processing power. Anyone who has played the
Resonant Rise modpack, or even just the Direwolf20 will agree that the
performance is greatly decreased. Some single mods have more code in them
than the actual game! If mods are added, I’m sure people will complain
about lag and since most people aren’t going to open up their console and
upgrade hardware, this lag is unavoidable without gutting the mods.

I highly doubt mods will be available for console minecraft. Mainly because
they receive a huge portion of their income from skins, texture packs, etc
that 4J makes. Besides, what mods will be put in if they were added? Quite
a few mods require the use of additional hotkeys to work (i.e. Modular
Powersuits), which will be problematic for a console controller.

Do people not realize that if this went through kids just as easily get pvp

Personally i would love to see mods for Minecraft Xbox One and for
Minecraft PS4, I think it would be huge for the console community as it
adds so many more ways to play minecraft. LIKE the video if you agree :D

Being that mods aren’t officially supported by The creators of minecraft
why would they allow them?

It’s bullshit if you pay for mods when you can just download it free from
PC. I hope that idea doesn’t make it thru.
