You could have some kind of block in a room and if someone comes in and tries to take it the door would lock behind him/her and have some sort of killing machine hooked up to kill the person.

So realization and testing just confirmed: That torch output causes a block update (as do pistons retracting, pistons that face that Y axis, and redstone lamps). So if you line one up with another, you can make a wireless clock. Or you can just make a wireless relay to your sky base.

No not really, don’t think about stuff like that on a daily basis.
If I was going to just place a block above the daylight sensor, I wouldn’t have picked glowstone as my first priority to test.

u can make wireless clocks\wireless redstone for doors :D i really needed something like that for my projact and u halped me so much
