EXACTLY ages ago when i was learning the basics of redstone, and i couldnt understand why i couldnt power a piston the way i wanted to. I gave up but when i started a new project i went along and i realise dwhat i had done wrong, thats pretty much how i learned from there onward

I disagree. There are limits to redstone. There are smaller ones for music.

You’re almost right, but not really. I am a music producer, and am using MIDI everyday :) While it’s mainly used to tell synthesisers to make a sound (hardware or software), it can also be used to control other things (typically sound related, but not necessarily) the most common forms of midi devices are keyboards, drum pads, and mixers… So MIDI signals don’t only contain notes, and velocity values… But you can use MIDI to store note sequences
