Nope they get wiped out. that also goes for torches, wooden, buttons, redstone torches, tripwire, tripwirehooks, vines, item frames, paintings and levers. Heads are kinda strange and buggy. But you can use ladders and trapdoors (don’t know if they work with this contraption). Hope i didn’t miss anything important and have a nice day :D

You showed a door that needed signs, when you want to get rid of lava, and don’t have blocks or water, but you do have a lava bucket, you place the lava on a non lava source and you pick it up again quickly. So if you have double pulsing dispensers with the lava/water where the side pistons are, then you don’t need signs, and you don’t see pistons, although you could modify it and have sticky pistons one block away from the door and have blocks stuck to them.

Get a better PC, and type it up in a text editor before hand, then use the copy tool, and hit Ctrl and V at the same time in Minecraft chat,
