Try a wooden floor and put your anchantment table on it together with your bookshelves. Gives higher levels of anchantment.

It’s not beneficial to save your levels up over 30. The higher the level you are the more xp it takes to level up. 30 is now the maximum enchantment, so the most efficient way to spend your xp is to level to 30 (which takes no time), spend it all, rinse and repeat.

i learned from Vechs himself on his dev com that in legion halls silverfish can spawn in any light level.

you can deactivate bookshelves by puting blocks/torches in front of them
