9) Regarding the Swippen paranoia question.. again, as somebody who’s played as the Mole before, you would not BELIEVE until you’ve done it just how much paranoia you have! You have to watch literally everything you say. Like I said below, incredibly stressful. 10) It’s fascinating hearing about the behind-the-scenes stuff in this much detail, really for the first time in any of the seasons. 11) Season 4! WOOHOO! 12) Once again, great job all. Fanastic season! Well done Mike and Swippen! Byee!

Hey belboz, in regards to future seasons of the mole, do you think you would be willing to take fan-submitted challenges to try to help ease workload on you and your helpers? Or, if not challenge builds themselves, kind of small, sculpted environments maybe a few chunks large that would work for challenges to be built into?
Dunno, I just see the amount of work, and think maybe crowd-sourcing some of the low-level building stuff might ease some things. You’d have to curate it a bit, of course.

Everyone, sadly we didn’t get to all questions. The recording was 2 hours and I had to move things along. We answered some questions during all the challenge discussions, others were cut because of time. You are welcome to post your questions here and Crew or players can answer. Just say something like “MOLE QUESTION:” at the start of your post

Ok here we go again… 1) The ladder challenge was the first time I seriously suspected Swippen at all. It just seemed so odd that he’d be the only player to get the challenge right (knowing Kama had already gotten it wrong, of course) and then was as insistent as the others that the fact checker checks his work.
2) I love the fortress challenge. And I think “Long and Winding Road” is just too hard as it stands. Players, agree to vote all one way before the challenge starts! Easy win..

My question didnt get asked, sad face! But I cant wait for season 4!

Could u possibly have a audience in season 4 if so could I possibly be a member of the audience

Continuing… 3) Loved the mansion, and the waterslide was epic. 4) You could see how much work this season took, but it totally paid off. 5) I absolutely thought you’d pick a crew member… good job there. Don’t agree on the age though; I’ve run a lot of online Mole games, and one of the best Moles I’ve ever seen was fifteen years old. 6) “Tiring”. LOL. 7) I wouldn’t want to be the Mole. I’ve done it before. In a five- or six-week game it’s incredibly stressful. 8) I agree on no blatant clues.

MOLE QUESTIONS: 1. Would you consider ever trying to do the mole on the minecraft xbox version? 2. How long did a day of recording take?
December 9th, 2012 at 8:04 AM
Thank you! I would sure love that 1 day, they are such a great and freindly crew, but I am happy with just beeing friends too. I am sure you can see me again some time when they let us fans play on livestream or such. Or you can watch mole all over again ;)

Not even eliminate players could be in the audience, it would be too easy to give stuff away

mr. zodiac taking the dive after mario was HILARIOUS
December 9th, 2012 at 8:21 AM
Nope on the xbox, you really need your own server and a few plugins to do it right. We would record on a single day for 4 hours or so. That was generally 2 episodes recorded during that timeframe.

I’m trying to do a mole thing myself, what site did you use to make the quiz and have the players take it?
December 9th, 2012 at 8:24 AM
Thanks! And yes It is very frustrating when you have to think about what you say all the time. That goes for both my RL family and with the fans. Such relief now to be able to join in on chaos and chaos mumble while not beeing paranoid about what to say. =) Sikalus (my daughter) have a new rule to call me “Moleman” every day atleast once ;P So far she is successfull.

Oh regarding the clue… I couldn’t let it go without at least trying to see it… It’s partly obscured, but please tell me that’s not a giant “S” carved into the wood in the ceiling of the elimination room!
Oh, if that’s it, I’ll be kicking myself for weeks…

MOLE QUESTIONS: what where the interviewers looking for in a person tO be a contestant on the mole season 3?
December 9th, 2012 at 8:26 AM
Naturally, after you answered my question (thanks by the way), I went and looked in the intros. Is this “clue” something to do with everyone’s ages? Swippen is missing the whole “Age = ?” thing. It just says “27”. Odd one out much XD
December 9th, 2012 at 8:29 AM
That was a question mark ???????

Congrats on a great job Swippen. To quote the eventual winner of one of the UK Mole seasons, “You had me fooled for bleep-ing ages.” :) I think you were really unlucky to get the “medium” jump at the beginning, actually, and you might have got away with even less suspicion from the players if you hadn’t had to fail that jump! But great job – you fooled most of the viewers pretty much until the end, and I think you played a fantastic game.
