you do know that turning redstone into obsidian is a feature that is around
since stone age, right?

Thank you. I was looking for a tutorial about this.

Hey +Xisumavoid does this work in all 1.7 or is it just snapshots because
the server that I play on is at 1.7.9

You were able to change redstone into obsidien before the 1.7 (I think 1.3
works)

The SAROG. Not as epic as it sounds, but a cool contraption none the less
:-)

so simple thing with so much redstone?-you suck at it

MUMBO HERE, MUMBO THERE. Mumbo, mumbo, mumbo!
I could not resist…

don’t forget “Mumbo something else” :p

does this work on multiplayer?

This isn’t a bug. It’s been this way for a while now. Lava in a cobblestone
generator would’ve done the same. Remember Ant venom’s Pillar Survival
series thing…

I was WAAAY off with that acronym.
May 15th, 2014 at 9:38 AM
Hey Xisuma, could you and Mumbo possibly try and make an obsidian generator
like this but with string? If using string even works anymore…

I’ve done a similiar design but I sacrificed the semi automation for safety
measures so you can place as much redstone as you want even just one and no
lava will spill. If you want to see it you can watch my tutorial
(advertising bla bla… bad bla bla… i know^^ but I think it contributes
and adds to what he showed so why not help people that have a talent to
spill lava like myself?)

I like the idea of de-activiting a nether portal as you go through, then
when you go back a new portal will be made. Mine the new portal, and
repeat. Might take tad longer as you have to go in and out but you don’t
waste 8 red stone, which takes a while.

Umm… That’s not a bug. That feature has been around forever. How would
you even explain it if it were a bug?
Otherwise, that’s a nice concept!
