That’s not what he’s asking, GenerikB said he quit HermitCraft and he was asking if he would ever come back.

Can you make a door out of that? Like a tutorial of it?

The Piston is not powered but in a powered state. Placing a torch on the pistons block updates the arm of the pistons which in turn updates the whole piston, thus updating/budding.

Xisuma. I love you.

Noooo, it causes the piston to update.

or you can use a t flip flop to make it a lever. that way each pulse turns it on and off.

He’s still on Hermitcraft.

Xisuma I made this on Minecraft Xbox but as soon as you place the redstone torch under the block connected to the piston, it rapidly extends and contracts repeatedly until the redstone torch burns out. :/

No, I would almost say for certain they would not.
Caving becomes stupid
No mobs would spawn
PvP would be ruined
The list goes on, it’s not a very good idea :P

When you place the torch it updates the block and the blocks around it (Redstone updates more blocks around it) The extened arm of the piston gets updated and tells the piston that it is not powered so it should not be extended. Then the block goes over the torch and diagonally powers the piston. Which then extends the piston (which removes the power source since the block is no longer above the torch) Then it gets unpowered without updated the piston i.e. BUD

Because when you place the torch on the block it updates tha block and the piston arm. which is needed for the piston to retract.

the torch causes a redstone update

Xisuma, you forget 2 blocks on the other side of the piston to make it retract and extend almost instantly.

No, it is old. It still works wonderfully so it is not “outdated.”

I explained it to someone else :P
