Hello xisuma! I think that slimes and other mobs too can spawn on a non-solid blocks like cobweb and torches, but they cannot spawn on non full block that have hitbox like ladders and slabs, thats why they didn’t spawned on repeters.

They drow at the same speed but it will only grow to 3 on grass or dirt block… on sand it can get up to 4 high.

Thanks for this video Xisuma.
Just one thing that you didn’t mention that many are probably wondering: Slimes cannot spawn on trip wire.

Do the herobrine myth

The piston pusher is the most effective design, for 2 reasons:
1) All of the record-breaking mob traps use this
2) This kills the mobs as fast as possible, one of the main factors in mob system effeciancy.
However, for rescourse and space effeciancy, I would recomend JL2579’s trap: “The Flow”.
If you don’t want any lag from it, and want a very cheap mob system, use Etho’s circular design with 3×3 pads.
This is just my opinion!
