Can you just apply the highest possible strength of Mining Fatigue which is 255? Just to be sure players can’t break anything. Or it would affect something else?

you should make a system to somehow make sure the captains dont just idol at the player select, cause that would break the game.

if you are having trouble with minning fatigue effect, you could just create a beacon, MCedit the effect and the range so every player will be applied minning fatigue automattically :)

Glad to hear you so excited in this episode. It was a neat episode, informative as always. I kept hearing you say mass test instead of math test XD (at least that’s what I’m guessing you were saying) It’s a shame that the only way of knowing when you are going to need tester is through tweeter, although it is understandable, I really don’t want to get into it but I still want to be able to help =/

for the mining fatigue how about using modified beacons?
it would mean you could clear effects on the players and it would come back on its own

Or superflat with only one layer of sand with no bedrock, but you have to have a fast PC to stop lag
