    Mobs are entities, and entities cause lag. Minecarts are entities too. So, they also cause lag. Mobs will die in a normal mobs spawner and cause less lag than mobs that die quicker but with 100+ minecarts whizzing around, lagging you’re game. And the fact that the mob drops may not compensate for the loaaads of iron used to make carts.

    And guys, you don’t need to use fricking iron blocks. Works with any block that mods can spawn on
