10:00 You don’t need to crouch on tilled soil anymore since like 1.1. 11:45 WOOT!!! Ugly retarded tree getting removed finally. Go exploring the cave with the skeleton you killed. There should hopefully be iron in there for buckets.

Kill spiders to get string for a fishing rod! you can then gather some fish and cook them. Its a good food source. Hope you see this :-)

What a shame. Even the minecraftwiki only says “Oak leaves now have a 1/200 chance of dropping an apple when destroyed.” (change on 11w48a) what does not have to mean that they really have to be destroyed. I would’ve said that you have to destroy them by hand but I’m also not that sure because the drop’s pretty rare :D I also agree with the fishing option by the way :D and thought you wouldn’t cut the tree – I felt like “I’m gonna kill you!!!”

You should probably make some tools other than a pickaxe and hoe–specifically a stone sword. Going after that skeleton with just a pickaxe was not the wisest decision, especially with no food; a stone sword would have killed it in three fewer hits. A stone axe also makes a significant difference in the time it takes to harvest wood. True, you may not need it, but the investment is so low I can’t see why you wouldn’t make one.
Bottom line: make some tools, please. Especially a weapon!

or north-east :D
