They fixed the lighting glitches in one snapshot but it caused too much bugs so they removed it straight after in the next snapshot.

I had the same problem so i put one more lava block and it kills them on the way down and have the drops go in to a hopper and a chest! easy but not to fancy!

your texturepack miss up with horses the jump boost bar is not working and the horse hearsts fixed that man give me likes so monkeyfarm see :>

Funny thing! I really liked that area where you found the horses so I started a world with this seed and the damn things are everywhere around spawn!
