Last UHC II, you told your partner SimplySarc about you being at work in
the time of the recording of UHC I. Does that apply with the last three
season, especially the UHC VI. Weren’t you trying to sleep early for work
at the time the recording of the event (UHC VI) happened?

I’m in love with my cocoa.

I’ve always loved this design for cocoa. I’ve been using variations on if
for a least a couple of years, and it was you that gave me the idea.
It makes me wish 2 things each time I do it though. Firstly, that you could
do more with cocoa beans than just stain things brown or make cookies.
(Pam’s HarvestCraft can make hot cocoa and chocolate, and then lots of
other things from that) And secondly, that there be a good way to automate
replanting cocoa beans. (Autonomous Activators from Thermal Expansion have
been my best answer, but they take ages to fill)
I put hoppers underneath the beans to automate collection, and latch
trigger a daylight sensor for a daily harvest, if I’ve got the activators.
Each vanilla release I’ve tried, the deployers and droppers and such do not
plant beans. :(
Also, of note: I like to use a horizontal form of this mechanism to harvest
wheat, rather than the usual water flood. I can push a button and all the
wheat pops off my field so all I have to do is run around, collect and
replant. ^_^ It wont flush my seeds to one end like a flood would but, like
the beans, I have to manually walk the field to replant anyways so…

Hey Monkeyfarm, I think you should share harvests from the coco bean farm
and call the farm “The Cocomatic 3000.”

There are a couple moments while you’re placing the pistons where you
aren’t saying anything. Or is that muted profanity?
December 14th, 2014 at 8:14 AM
“Don’t kill my boat, I’ll kill you squid!”

Nice design! That smart piston is great, I’m sure I’ll find other uses for
it. Thanks :)
