Minecraft Automatic Minecarts! – Hermitcraft 3 Ep. 12
Running back and forth to the mob spawner is tiring, so I’m going to build some automatic minecart stations to dispense and collect the minecarts. SUBSCRIBE to MONKEYFARM: http://bit.ly/VwOqXZ…

If you’re worried about mobs, put slabs just above the rails. You won’t
take suffocation damage, and you’ll see through the slabs while riding the
minecart. (Aside from the hit boxes) Mobs won’t be able to walk, or spawn
on the rails.

the curved rail wouldn’t have been activated anyway because you’re not, at
that point, in position to trip the wire. Also, I don’t think the mobs will
track you as they don’t like walking on rails according to the latest
updates.

Nice little track you got there :)

monkeyfarm you should make a whole network of rails to different places
with stops at peoples bases and around the hermit town, that would be epic

I don’t know if someone already said this but mobs can’t go over tracks
anymore. Please thumbs up or something so that monkeyfarm can see it.

I’ve got the impression that Zombies still *think* rails are a solid track.
I’ve noticed they can’t path through abandoned mines’ archways if they have
a rail in them. They can be pushed, knocked back or fall, but they won’t
*choose* to walk over rails with 1 free block above.
If there are 2 or more air blocks above rails, they *think* they can walk
in the block above. You can almost see the confusion when they find they
“fall” into the rail block, as it seems to reset their path every step or
so.
You may still find you collide with aimlessly wandering zombies on your
track though. The slab on top of the rail that you ride through is probably
the least obstructive to the view.

While you have a very good building technique and look to it, I feel it’s
kinda .. well.. dull. I think your builds would be very cool and
interesting to look at if they had more details and color.
Other than that, keep at it :D Enjoying your videos very much.

Maybe you could put the rails underground so when you look at your awesome
world there is no big rail track right in the middle. Keep up the awesome
builds!!!
