soaryn chest is a reference to soaryn a mod developer/ mod player that
streams on twitch. He is on the same server as direwolf20 and he is usually
pair up with him because they build/share stuff with each other on the
server. The soaryn’s chest is what they called when there a random chest
out of no where contain random item/junk because soaryn’s have a habit of
leaving random stuff everywhere. now whenever there a random chest, they
all blame on and called it a soaryn’s chest. Btw the sever they play on is
called forgecraft where they test out mods for mods developer for bugs.

3:00 These floating Items are just displayed to kinda show what items are
in the chest or machine that has an inventory, like where you put in the
Spatial drive and wondered what that floating drive was.
11:10 These red X’s are displayed on blocks where mobs can spawn, sun would
shine on that block and mobs could spawn there at night then there would be
a yellow X, that overlay can be en/disabled with the press of F9 (or one of
these F keys in that block, not sure)
11:50 You are supposed to mine all of that, or at least the more valuable
blocks like the Flux thing that looks like a redstone block which is just
purple.
A Tip: If you strip mine through all of areas like that even if it looks
worthless from the outside there could be chest with more valuable items
inside of it in there.
15:25 Soaryn Chest… Lol
It’s just like a ME Drive but could only contain 1 Drive instead of
multiple and it could be accessed like a chest that displays the items
inside of the drive that has been put into it.
17:51 If you look up a recipe for a block you want to craft you could just
shift-click that ? mark in the GUI which would take the necessary Items
from your ME Storage into the crafting grid, if you just lick the ? mark
without shifting there will be just an overlay put into the crafting grid
that shows you where to place the corresponding item. This function just
doesn’t really work if a recipe would need Items which can’t stack.
30:00 If you load another sphere while there are blocks in the chamber you
swap the contents of the spatial disk with what is in the world currently.

People have tried to explain this really helpful tip to you before, but I
don’t think you quite got it:
Whilst you have a crafting bench or a crafting terminals GUI open, you can
search something in NEI. If you show the crafting recipe of something in
NEI and you shift click the question mark in the bottom corner of the
crafting recipe, it will craft it for you using stuff in your inventory (or
ME system if you are using a crafting terminal)
Hope this helped :D

if u want to use the biosphere (first of all its a room like the inclusion
chamber) just go to the spatial IO and press the button to save the
inclusion chamber then replace it with the biosphere disc and press the
button (if u want to go back to the inclusion chamber just “save” the
Biosphere with pressing the button again and replace it. ;-)

If you change the regular terminal with a crafting terminal (in the same
chest) you will get a crafting bench in the terminal. You can then craft
things without taking the resources out of the ME system manually. But be
careful. The crafting part is connected to the whole ME. If you, for
example, want to make 6 stone slabs and you put 3 stone in the crafting
part and your ME is filled with stone, shift-clicking will give you a stack
of slabs. If you only put 3 stone in the crafting part, it will still use
all of the stone like you had put 3 stacks of it in there. It’s good for
when you need a ton of items because you don’t have to put them in the
crafting bench manually, but if you’re used to shift-clicking the items out
of the crafting bench, you might craft more items than you need. You should
look up how it works, my explanation seems complicated. :D
I certainly love the crafting terminal better, because you don’t need to
take the items out and put them in your inventory to craft. Especially if
you know how to transmit recipes to the crafting interface (shift-l.click
to the item when you’ve opened the recipe if I remember correctly). It
allows you to see if you have the items needed. For example, if you need to
craft a piston and you shift-l.click the recipe to the crafting terminal
and the recipe in the crafting part is missing the redstone, it means there
is no redstone in the ME where you would have to look manually for every
item in the ME without the feature.

That map looks so awesome. I don’t know if you really get the idea of CTM
maps, you need to play it more like a survival map and less like an
adventure map. Break stuff, use any means needed to defeat areas, there
will be tons of mobs in every area.

Oh and to semi-auto-craft(kinda) shift+ click on the ? when looking into a
recipe while in ME Crafting Terminal to put the recipe in there! and is
gonna put the items automaticaly(please excuse my grammar i don’t have
english as main language)

tl;dr a bunch of answers/tips for xisuma
1) red/yellow Xs you see on the blocks are basically a mod telling you if
mobs can or cannot spawn somewhere. red X = can spawn yellow X = can spawn
only at night no X = cant spawn
2) what you are connecting the ME system you built to is another ME system.
usually a ME system will need a ME controller and power but you are
basically building an ME system inside a bigger ME system (if that makes
any sense to you) so you dont need to worry about that.
3) i would suggest that when you craft items you will do the following : 1)
in the ME crafing terminal left side you will see “search box mode” , make
sure its on “NEI Syncornized auto” 2) search the thing you want to craft 3)
left click on it 4) go to the actual crafting window (meaning not the
smelting pulverising etc) 5) left-shift + click on the little question mark
6) (if you actully have the items in the ME system) it will put all the
items in the correct place on the crafting grid and then you can just
easily craft the item
4)”soaryn chest” is kind of an inside joke. soaryn is a modded minecraft
steamer and its just a general phrase a lot of people use.
5)if you will look at your ME system you will see you have a “golden egg”
that will basically spawn a “miny me” which will basically be a 1 block
high mob with your skin that just runs around and picks you up. i would
suggest not doing it somewhere important because it will explode when it
spawns the “mini me”
6)there are 4 tiers of reward bags. normal, good, epic and legendary
7)if you would look at your tinkers’ tools you will notice a “skill level”
thats basically an add-on to tinkers’ construct which allows you to level
up your tools up to grandmaster, each level will earn you a random (as far
as i know. not sure about that) modifier to the tool (it will be harder to
level up the tools the higher their level is)
8) under the trees you have cut down there was “garden soil” notice thats
not regular dirt but a block that can sustain any plants even without light
and water.

Hey Xisuma. I wanted to let you know how the strange swapping of the areas
happened. See, normally you’d want to press the button again, before
loading a new area. That would put the area back in the proper disc.
However, you took the inclusion chamber disc out and put in the biosphere,
before unloading the inclusion chamber area. By pressing the button, you
loaded the biosphere into the world, but the inclusion chamber was still
loaded, so it was put back into the biosphere disc. At that point, the
biosphere area was in the world, and the inclusion chamber area was on the
biosphere disc. Then, you tried to put the inclusion chamber disc, which
was empty, back in the world. By pressing the button, you loaded the
biosphere area from the world, to the inclusion chamber disc, swapping
them. I hope this helps you!

Hey Xisuma, what does CTM mean?
December 23rd, 2014 at 8:29 AM
You should watch direwolf’s tutorial on ae 2. He explains everything very
well. Btw when you put a disk in the spatial io and press the button you
either place the room from inside the disk If there is something in the
disk or put everything in the disk If the disk is empty.

I love all your series!! Merry X-Mas X!

Under 301 crew!
December 23rd, 2014 at 8:35 AM
Xisuma, can you try being a bit less profesional wih your videos, they’re
much better that way!
December 23rd, 2014 at 8:36 AM
the soaryn chest is something about soaryn. He plays with direwolf and they
both play modded minecraft and they know the creator of lots of mods.
(Also soaryn places random stuff in tons of random chests, thats why its a
soaryn chest)

Spacial IO is a really weird mechanic, so don’t worry if you don’t get it.
Basically, the way storage cells store your items as energy, the spacial IO
does the same with physical space. When you press the button, you’re
swapping what’s currently in the area (in this case, the large empty room
outside the observatory) with the space stored inside the drive. The first
time you hit the button with the first spacial cell (the red room, can’t
remember the name), the room was empty, and the room was inside the drive.
These swapped, meaning that now the cell is empty, and the room exists in
the overworld. The second time you used the button, since the red room was
already occupying the space inside the room, that went inside the drive,
and the biosphere replaced it. That’s why the red room ended up on the
biosphere drive. I hope that wasn’t all just gibberish. Basically, make
sure you empty out the room by clicking the button again before you put a
new cell into the spacial IO :)
