Hi +xisumavoid I have a >>>SOLUTION< << for your beacon problems (and flickering) (although you probably wont see this), this is small design and includes an on off and a correct color spectrum. what is different is that the top piston tape is offset, and delayed, but its contents matches up with the bottom piston tape, stopping the beacon from flickering but allowing more colors to be mixed (because the top row is offset). World Save (made in 1.8-pre3) and schematic (in save folder):

Hey! if you are using Windows and you want to know how to see if you are
using 64Bit system or 32bit then README!
in windows 7 press windows key then open control panel then find System and
security Tab press it then System
you should find info about your graphics card and more find text “System
type: 32/64bit”
Windows 8/8.1
go to the search menu type control panel then System and security press it
then find tab System and the should be same text “system type: 32/64bit”
How to find what java are you using
this works in 7 and 8 Control panel find tab called “programs” then you
should find java if its 32bit java it will say “java (32) but if it’s
64bit java it only says “java”
in case you can’t find 64bit java download here is the link:

And how to fix framerate problem on 32bit?
September 11th, 2014 at 9:03 AM
+xisumavoid i don’t know if you can place snow layers on hoppers, but if
you can, 3 of them will fix the wither skeleton farm

Xisuma you could remove thw half slabs above the bottom hoppers on the farm
so the crusher doesn t only kill withee skeletons, cause the place where
mobs soffucate has been moved up a little bit, so now it is in the eyes
level I believe.

i have java 8 (1.8.0_20) 64 bit on a 64 bit machine still frame drops grr
:/

I have java 64 but I still have fps problems. It’s not my pc because I have
a 7970.

Look. your version doesnt have to do with your ram. it is based on your
cpu. 32 can have up to 4 gb ram and 64 can have thousends gb more ram (yes,
so much more) If you are on a 32 version cpu you wont have the framerate
drop because of a bug or glitch. It probably has to do with the fact that
your pc isnt good enough to run minecraft.

The beacon colours are annoying as Mojang didn’t make them logically change
colours, it does a colour mix like with paint rather than a colour multiply
that actual real tinted glass would do to light, so it will always look
wrong and weird with some combinations.

Why has someone disliked already??

Updating to 64 bit now, hopefully it will work c:

fix the half slab problem by putting carpets instead… the pistons will
kill the skeletons and pigmen

My minecraft says i need more memory, but the only programms what i got is
minecraft and chrome! What do i need to do?!

Instead of changing the entire circuit to fix the beacon turning white for
a second, you can just move the beacon down a block. and update it with
some redstone dust after the blocks have been moved! :D

For the colors that have only one colored block….why not putting another
row os pistons with white glass and only colored glass for the ones that
need it?
