You know your redstone, but you don’t know the colours of the rainbow! Red
Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet, not Red Orange Yellow Green Violet
Indigo. Instead of doubling up a colour, you could have added Blue, and
you should also switch Indigo and Violet if you get the chance. It’s why
the Purple-Green beacon looks weird. Also, shouldn’t you have built it on
a lower y level so you wouldn’t hear it?

Hey X. I noticed a little quirk with your beacon system. I noticed that
your colour ratios change at irregular intervals. Take for instance red and
orange:
1 red = 100% red
2 red 1 orange = 67% red 33% orange
1 red 1 orange = 50% red 50% orange
1 red 2 orange = 33% red 67% orange
1 orange = 100% orange
The ratios change by 33%, 17%, 17%, then again 33%, and so on. If you take
a look at your 3 block tall stained glass towers and add another glass
block of the same colour, than the ratios will be constantly 25% every
time.

A zero-tick pulse may be the solution to the blinking.
You could also try blocking the beam between too colors.
And finaly, blue comes after green, not purple ;-)

the beams turned off when the beacon block itself is not ‘visible’ anymore

If you made a tower of sticky pistons holding the stained glass in
color-order and hat them extend and retract on a timer, you wouldn’t have
to deal with the blinking. Also, for future reference, the color order is
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple

X, what happened to the Asian styled buildings w/Keralis? I loved seeing
that.

+xisumavoid swap the blue and the purple. it’s bugging me. also the reason
why you thought it looked weird sometimes. nothing to do with the clear
glass interfering.

Make a nother tape of stained glass above/below this one and make one of
them 1 tick after the other. This should stop the blinking. I hope ive
helped.

If Someone new Hermitcraft saw his inventory of 32 beacons they would think
he hacks.

I think there is a simpler way of doing it. By using a hopper timer with 1
item in it connect each timer to a column of pistons, making 2 of them
retract at the same time. Then invert the signal on one of the columns for
each hopper making the system run in order.
This way you’ll have the 2 far corners of the circle retract at the same
time making the redstone a lot simpler and the color change controllable
(by changing the amount of items in the hopper timer).
Hope you will find this useful Xisuma :)

make the beacon change colors really fast

The colors of the rainbow is red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple not
red-orange-yellow-green-purple-blue

Xisuma, I think the beam turns white for a split second is because of
server lag. I don’t think it does that in singleplayer.

ah… if you where trying to make a rainbow you messed up slightly you put
blue where purple goes and purple where blue goes

You make the beacon beams disappear when you look up, because the beacons
dont render in. That’s because of the 1.8 fps boost, it only shows the
blocks that are on your screen. Thats why you dont see the beams when you
look up: You dont see the beacons.

Blue is before purple in the rainbow! xD And by the way you said that you
repeated red on both ends so taking out onw of those should have totaled to
23.

put the mormal glass at the bottom and then the stained at the top, it will
fix the uneven colors
